Ava sat on the balcony, staring off into the distance. It was surprising how dull royal life could be. She hopped up into the railing, allowing her feet to swing over the edge, not caring if she fell, not really caring about anything. She was bored. Falling off a balcony might even be the high point of her year, maybe even her life. It's not that she was depressed or suicidal. Ava simply wanted to mix things up, and while she didn't plan to fall, it might spice up her life. She silently wished that someone would join her...

(Totally forgot all my characters and their appearances, personalities, and abilities so if I randomly change stuff that's why)
Mia slid up next to her sibling. Her black hair was pulled half up in a braid, long tendrils framing her pretty face. Her normally serious expression softened into a small smile and her dark blue eyes seemed to become brighter. "Hi," she said, almost whispering, though not shyly. Mia just preferred to speak less and observe more.

Ava grinned at her younger sister. "Good evening, your highness," she said formally, sarcastically.

Mia inclined her head and curtsied gracefully in return. "How are you?" She murmured politely.
(I thought Mia was older but idk it doesn't really matter)

The prince had been wandering around the giant, nearly empty halls of his family's summer home. He was bored, and he was lonely, which was a wonder seeing as he had a ton of siblings. A sigh escaped his lips and he found himself walking out to the balcony, where two of his sisters came into view. He walked out into the open air and leaned against the railing, giving a nod to the two of them before fixing his gaze on the sky. "Sup?" he could really care less about all the formality he was supposed to practice. He'd wear that facade around his parents and strangers, but not his siblings.

(No Ava is oldest- she's 18 and in Mia's form it says she's 17)
Ava grinned at her brother. She had never really been one for formalities, and was glad that they shared that. "Yo," she said, trying to keep a straight face.

"What're you guys doing out here?" He asked, a slight smile finding its way onto his face at his sister's choice of words. Nice.

(Ok)
Mia sighed inwardly. Out of all her siblings, these two were the most unlike her. Even though she was still close to her siblings, she still managed to feel left out sometimes. Of course, Mia felt the least suited to life as a royal. Being shy, introverted, and more formal, she often felt that out of all her siblings, she was least capable of ruling, as she hated making decisions. Every day, Mia thanked the gods that she wasn't the firstborn. Mia offered a tiny smile to her brother, but said nothing.

Ava sighed. "Bored," she said, swinging one leg back over the railing so she was riding it like a horse. The skirt of her dress rose with this, uncovering the comfortable leggings (which she'd had specially made) that she wore under most of her gowns.

He gave Mia a friendly nudge and smile, noticing that she seemed a little closed off. He didn't want her to be uncomfortable, although the cause of her discomfort he didn't know. He just wanted her to feel like it was okay to relax in the presence of her siblings. He turned his attention to Ava when she spoke, and he nodded. "Same," he sighed, rubbing his eyes.

Ava raised an eyebrow at her brother. "With all this political stuff," - you could tell that 'stuff' wasn't the word she had really wanted to use - " that you have to focus on?" she laughed. For once, she was grateful that girls couldn't be next in line to the throne. She still felt bad that her brother had to deal with it all.

"Especially with all this political stuff," he said, wrinkling up his nose. He wasn't one for politics.

Mia smiled to herself. Politics. One thing she actually agreed with her siblings about. To her politics was essentially just a bunch of people arguing and selfishly wanting more power. Ugh.

"Well, we're not going to get any less bored just standing here - lets do something." He suggested, a small smile playing on his lips. He stepped up onto one of the lower bars of the railing and leaning over, looking at the ground below.

Ava looked over the railing with him. "What, like jumping?" she asked, nudging him playfully. "Even you can't be that stupid."
